We're looking for a software engineer to help us build the data foundation of our platform and ensure it's scalable and performant.
Software Engineer (Data & Infrastructure)
What You'll Do
This is a software engineering role focused on data systems and infrastructure. You'll build scalable services for processing geospatial data pipelines, deploy them in the cloud and make them queryable in milliseconds. You'll write production-quality code and solve interesting problems at the intersection of software engineering and data.
· Build cloud-native infrastructure for scalable execution of geospatial data pipelines
· Develop and maintain internal tools and ETL processes that keep our platform data fresh and accurate
· Support the data team in new approaches to data sourcing and processing, including AI/ML capabilities
· Collaborate with the product team to integrate data in formats optimized for application performance
· Share your work with the team and incorporate feedback
What You'll Bring
· Strong software engineering skills in Python: you write clean, tested, maintainable code
· 3+ years experience building data pipelines and backend systems on production
· Solid understanding of databases
· Hands-on experience with cloud services (we use AWS)
· Ability to work autonomously and learn quickly
· Clear communication skills in English (our team is international)

Software Engineer (Product)
What You'll Do
You'll build features that help renewable energy developers find and evaluate sites for their projects. It's a generalist role – you'll work across the stack, from understanding what users need to shipping and iterating based on user feedback.
· Design and implement end-to-end features, from concept through deployment
· Build intuitive interfaces for visualizing and interacting with geospatial data
· Collaborate with colleagues and brainstorm on ideas to improve our product for hundreds of active users
· Write maintainable, tested and performant code
· Share your work with the team and address their feedback
· Contribute ideas to grow our product & team, and shape how we work together
What You'll Bring
· 3+ years experience building web applications with modern frameworks and operating them on production (we use Python/Django and TypeScript/React)
· Interest in or experience with geospatial technologies (we use MapboxGL and PostGIS)
· A product-oriented mindset: you think about why we're building something, not just how
· Generalist profile: you quickly learn new tools and can put on different hats
· Clear communication skills in English (our team is international)

You are responsible for the long-term satisfaction, retention and development of customers. You will work directly with the founders and build your own team. You are pragmatic, have an interest in renewable energy, and enjoy taking on responsibility: from customer feedback to brainstorming to implementation.
Customer Success Manager
What You'll Do
• Establishing and maintaining long-term customer relationships throughout the customer life cycle
(introduction, use, development)
• Analysis of customer feedback to identify potential for improvement
• Structuring and managing the implementation of customer feedback
• Development of tools to manage and automate customer care
• Development of a product knowledge database
• Observation of relevant changes in the industry/policy
• Organization of customer events, webinars and trade fairs to strengthen market presence
• Writing blog articles and other marketing tasks
• Planning and implementation of marketing strategies
What You'll Bring
• 4-5 years of experience in customer success/ sales/product management, ideally in a start-up company in the SaaS and/or renewable energy sector
• Good knowledge of CRM and marketing automation systems (e.g. HubSpot, Jira).
• Affinity for digital technologies and understanding of the energy industry
• Fluent in German and English
• Customer focus and strong communication skills
• Proactive thinking with a pragmatic approach and an eye for detail
